Hakodate, a city that flourished as an international port during the Edo period, offers a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. It is one of Hokkaido's most distinctive destinations, where numerous historical buildings influenced by Western culture still stand today. Famous landmarks often featured in the media include Goryokaku, Mount Hakodate, the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses, and the Hakodate Orthodox Church.
During cherry blossom season, visitors can enjoy the sight of Goryokaku dyed in shades of pink. At the "Hakodate Morning Market," Hokkaido's premier marketplace, you can savor fresh seafood and produce from the region. The market offers a wide array of seafood caught in the waters near Hokkaido, as well as locally sourced agricultural products.
After the tour, we would be happy to recommend some of the best local restaurants for those interested. To cap off your visit, don’t miss the breathtaking night view from Mount Hakodate, one of the "World's Top Three Night Views" alongside Hong Kong and Naples.
Itinerary
- 9:00 Meet at Hakodate Station
- Visit Goryokaku
- Enjoy lunch at the Hakodate Morning Market
- Explore the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses
- Stroll through the Motomachi District (including churches and the famous Hachiman-zaka Slope)
- 16:00 End of the tour at Hakodate Station

- The tour will primarily use public transportation. Taxis or other private transportation can be arranged upon request (additional transportation costs will apply).

- Transportation costs to and from Hakodate
- Transportation fees during the tour
- Meals and beverages during the tour
- Lunch expenses
- Personal shopping expenses
Important Note
- As this is a request-based booking, it may take up to 3 days to confirm the schedule after your reservation.
- During the winter season, snow may be present. Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing for walking.
The cancellation policy
Cancellation fees are calculated based on JPNEAZY's business days, excluding Sundays and public holidays in Japan.
If you fail to arrive at the meeting point or cannot be contacted within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, your booking will be treated as a same-day cancellation.
If JPNEAZY determines that the tour cannot proceed due to unavoidable circumstances, such as severe weather (typhoons, heavy snow) or natural disasters, a full refund will be issued.
If you wish to reschedule the tour for personal reasons, please note that availability may be limited. In such cases, the following cancellation policy will still apply:
- Same day: 100%
- 2 days before: 80%
- 7 days before: 30%
