Kumazawa Sake Brewery, founded in 1872, is located in the scenic Shonan area—just about an hour from Tokyo. As the only sake brewery in the region today, it continues to uphold time-honored traditions while embracing modern creativity in sake making.

On this tour, guests will explore the historic buildings and brewery facilities, learning about the brewing process that uses pure spring water from Shonan. The tour concludes with a sake pairing lunch at the brewery’s own restaurant, housed in a beautifully renovated Taisho-era storehouse. Here, seasonal local ingredients are artfully paired with Kumazawa’s signature sake—known for its elegant aroma and clean, crisp finish.

To make the experience even more special, a limited-edition sake available only through this tour will also be served. Take a short trip from the city and indulge in a unique culinary and cultural journey in coastal Shonan.

After lunch, the tour ends and guests are free to explore the surrounding area at their own pace. Within the brewery grounds, you'll find a renovated “Okeba” gallery—once used for repairing sake barrels and tools—now transformed into a charming cultural space.

The gallery showcases works by local Shonan artists and craftspeople, as well as vintage furniture and thoughtfully curated antiques, offering a relaxing environment where you can enjoy the art and local culture of the region.
